The Club
Lisburn Racquets Squash Club has three teams playing in the Ulster Squash League divisions 2,3 and 4, one
team in the Woman’s League and one in the Master’s League. (For recent results please see www.ulstersquash.com)
Social play is booming at the
club on four well-maintained squash courts with club-play sessions on Monday and Thursday evenings and Saturday afternoons.
During the season, coaching for juniors is provided on Saturday afternoons, and for adults by arrangement.
We are one of the few clubs in
Ulster with the capacity for large tournaments. In addition to several internal club tournaments throughout the year, we host
an annual open graded tournament in October, the Ulster Closed tournament in February and, in November 2006 for the first
time, hosted the Ulster Open when Irish No1 Derek Ryan beat Ulster’s Stevie Richardson in 3 sets.
The club takes an active role in Ulster Squash activities and the president of Ulster Squash, Derek Brown,
is also our ‘A’ team captain. The club is often represented at provincial and international level.
